You need JavaScript enabled to view it What will I get? Visit 1: Will asses in detail your energy and water consumption in the home and will last up to 2 hours. Visit 2: Your adviser will visit a second time to give you a written report showing where and how you could reduce your energy use. The advisor will explain the information in the report, and answer any questions you may have. As well as fitting free energy saving devices where appropriate and giving you tips on small changes in behaviour that will help you save even more money.
ACHIEVE helps you to There are many small changes that householders can make to use energy more efficiently. Through a home energy audit ACHIEVE advisors will be able to identify where householders can make changes and explain the financial and comfort benefits they can expect in return. Advisors will do this through developing a plan to reduce energy use that is specific to the household and will also be able to provide some free energy saving devices appropriate to their needs. Some changes may require investment, such as insulation and these measures will also see the greatest savings. However there are some that require little or no money at all, but instead a conscious change in the way that energy is used in the home. For example, reducing shower length or changing the way the heating is programmed so that the home is only heated when needed.
